Why does advertising shun people who wear eyeglasses?
A lot of people wear eyeglasses. Why don’t we see more actors, models,or people who appear on TV with eyeglasses? I don’t see anything wrong with peoples eyewear, and it happens to enhance some people’s appearance. Seems like a distortion of how things really are. Why is this?
Because Hollywood and modelling agencies like to set their own standards of what is beautiful.
I wonder if actors, models, and people on TV are asked to switch to contacts or lasik surgery, if they are chosen for whatever role and normally wear glasses.
I’m glad I wear glasses. I have a line across my nose at the top that is hereditary, and my glasses cover it!
I bought really expensive (to me) OAKLEY perscription sunglasses $400.00. It’s worth it. It’s part of my look!
Hooray for brave people wearing glasses. We’re a dying breed.
